Alabama High School Basketball - Chilton County knocked off by Pike Road

December 14, 2023: Clanton, AL 35045

The Pike Road Patriots basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Chilton County Tigers to 45 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lanett for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Pike Road will battle a Panthers team coming off a 67-54 non-league loss to Wilcox Central (Camden, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.

The Tigers (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Stanhope Elmore was defeated by Percy Julian (Montgomery, AL), 77-72, in a non-league contest.
