The Conestoga Pioneers basketball team (Berwyn, PA), was nudged 42-37 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA)

The Aces now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridley for a Central battle on Tuesday, December 19. Lower Merion will confront a Raiders team coming off a 45-41 league win over Haverford (Havertown, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-2.

The Pioneers (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA). The Royals come into the Central battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Upper Darby was nudged by Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA), 66-46, in a non-league battle.
