The Vermilion Sailors (Vermilion, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Edison Chargers (Milan, OH), 64-60 in Thursday's league test.

The Sailors (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Margaretta (Castalia, OH). The Polar Bears go into the Sandusky Bay - Bay test with a 2-1 record.

The Chargers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Mapleton for a non-league test on Friday, December 22.
