The Vidalia Vikings basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host General Trass Panthers to 38 in the Vikings non-league victory on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ouachita Parish for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Vidalia will battle a Lions team coming off a 43-37 non-league win over Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA). The Lions record now stands at 5-8.

The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against East St. John (Reserve, LA). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, East St. John was defeated by Rayville (Rayville, LA), 58-55, in a non-league contest.
