Maryland High School Basketball - High Point can't hold off Northwestern

The Northwestern Wildcats basketball team scored 56 points and held the host High Point Eagles to 55 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bowie for a Prince George's County 4A contest on Tuesday, December 19. Northwestern will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 67-44 non-league loss to Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.

The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Glenelg (Glenelg, MD). The Gladiators enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record.
