The Sumner Tigers basketball team (East Sullivan, ME), dropped 54-41 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME)

The Royals now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deer Isle-Stonington for a D North battle on Saturday, December 16. Jonesport-Beals will battle a Mariners team coming off a 85-33 non-league loss to George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Mariners record now stands at 0-2.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Knights come into the C North battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Narraguagus dropped by Washington Academy (East Machias, ME), 67-25, in a non-league battle.
