Morrilton Devil Dogs (Morrilton, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Subiaco Academy Trojans (Subiaco, AR), 71-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Morrilton upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Devil Dogs travel to Mena (Mena, AR) to clash with the Bearcats in a 4A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Westside Rebels (Coal Hill, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Subiaco Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-1 season record.
