In Thursday's non-league outing, the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) basketball squad nipped the host Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI), by a margin of 52-48.

The Chieftains (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI). The PRIDE go into the Division 2 outing with a 2-1 record.

The Mounties now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Smithfield for a Division 3 outing on Monday, December 18. Mount St. Charles Academy will clash with a Northmen squad coming off a 65-35 non-league win over Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Northmen record now stands at 3-0.
