Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northwestern Lehigh routs Northern Lehigh

In Thursday's league outing, the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA), by a count of 77-22.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Pottsville (Pottsville, PA). The Crimson Tide go into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Pottsville smashed Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA), 63-37, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Palmerton for a Colonial - West outing on Monday, December 18. Northern Lehigh will clash with a Blue Bombers squad coming off a 51-34 league win over Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA). The Blue Bombers record now stands at 3-1.
