The Perrydale Pirates basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Willamette Valley Christian Warriors to 48 in the Pirates league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santiam for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Perrydale will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 60-59 non-league win over Scio (Scio, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-3.

The Warriors (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest Christian (Beaverton, OR). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Southwest Christian was routed by Valor Christian (Beaverton, OR), 52-35, in a league contest.
