Rappahannock County (Washington, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA), 54-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rappahannock County upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The travel to Mountain View (Quicksburg, VA) to play the Generals in a Bull Run bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Mountain View lost 40-30 in their recent non-league bout against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Central Woodstock Falcons (Woodstock, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Riverheads will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 72-47 non-league win over Riverheads (Staunton, VA).
