Minnesota High School Basketball - Wabasso succumbs to St. Mary's

December 14, 2023: Wabasso, MN 56293

The St. Mary's Knights topped the host Wabasso Rabbits basketball team by a final score of 69-56 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Knights face the Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN) in a A Section 2 game, on Friday, December 15. St. Mary's will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 75-55 league win over Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN).

With the defeat, Wabasso moves to 2-2 on the year. The Rabbits travel to Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN) to face the Indians in a non-league game on Friday, December 15. The Indians enter the game with a record of 4-1. Sleepy Eye won 60-45 in their recent league game against St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN)
