The Woodstock Academy Centaurs basketball team (Woodstock, CT), was overwhelmed 55-32 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT)
The Lancers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Bernard for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 21.
The Centaurs (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Redmen come into the Eastern Connecticut II battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Killingly trounced Montville (Oakdale, CT), 56-49, in a non-league battle.
