Albany Cougars (Albany, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bethel Jaguars (Vallejo, CA), 37-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Albany upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Swett (Crockett, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 4-2.
