The Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Villa Grove Blue Devils (Villa Grove, IL), 29-28 in Thursday's league test.

The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Maroa-Forsyth got by Riverton (Riverton, IL), 75-30, in a league test.

The Blue Devils now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tuscola for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4.
