Bradley Bears (Bradley, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Taylor Tigers (Taylor, AR), 50-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Bradley upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Lafayette County (Stamps, AR) to play the Cougars in a 1A Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-5.

Next up, the Tigers play the Mineral Springs Hornets (Mineral Springs, AR) in a 1A Region 7 bout, on Monday, December 18. Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 53-19 league loss to Kirby (Kirby, AR).
