West Virginia High School Basketball - Victory Baptist Academy can't hold off Calvary Baptist Academy

The Calvary Baptist Academy Patriots basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Victory Baptist Academy Saints to 47 in the Patriots league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wood County Christian for a West Virginia Christian - AA contest on Tuesday, January 2. Calvary Baptist Academy will battle a Wildcat team coming off a 47-25 non-league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, OH). The Wildcat record now stands at 0-3.
The Saints (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV). The Crusaders enter the Coalfield A contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Greater Beckley Christian was nudged by Montcalm (Montcalm, WV), 59-34, in a non-league contest.
