Nevada High School Basketball - Carson ripped by Spanish Springs

The Spanish Springs Cougars basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Carson Senators to 22 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Galena for a 4A Northern contest on Thursday, December 21. Spanish Springs will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 44-38 league win over McQueen (Reno, NV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-7.

The Senators (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Reno (Reno, NV). The Huskies enter the 4A Northern contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Reno was routed by Douglas (Minden, NV), 52-17, in a league contest.
