Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) and the host Century Knights (Sykesville, MD), saw South Carroll's basketball squad hold off Century by a count of 43-39.
With the victory, South Carroll upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Manchester Valley (Manchester, MD) to play the Mavericks in a Carroll County challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
