In Thursday's non-league outing, the New Covenant Academy Warriors (Springfield, MO) basketball squad nipped the host Fair Play Hornets (Fair Play, MO), by a margin of 35-28.
The Warriors (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Wheaton (Wheaton, MO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Wheaton was tipped by Cassville (Cassville, MO), 39-15, in a non-league outing.
The Hornets now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Dadeville for a Polk County outing on Friday, December 15.
