Missouri High School Basketball - Festus knocked off by Perryville

The Perryville Pirates basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Festus Tigers to 36 in the Pirates league triumph on Thursday.
The Pirates now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valle Catholic for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Perryville will meet a Warriors team coming off a 69-65 non-league win over Potosi (Potosi, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 5-1.
Next up, the Tigers play the West County Bulldogs (Leadwood, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Festus will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 63-26 non-league loss to Fredericktown (Fredericktown, MO).
