Maryknoll Spartans (Honolulu, HI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Hawaii Baptist Academy Eagles (Honolulu, HI), 50-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Maryknoll upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign.

Next up, the Eagles play the Mid-Pacific Institute Owls (Honolulu, HI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Hawaii Baptist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 42-28 non-league loss to Hanalani (Mililani, HI).
