The High Point Eagles basketball team (Beltsville, MD), was overwhelmed 49-13 in Thursday's league battle with the host Northwestern Wildcats (Hyattsville, MD)
The Wildcats now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crossland for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle on Friday, December 15. Northwestern will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 62-20 league loss to Friendly (Fort Washington, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-3.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Suitland (Forestville, MD). The Rams come into the Prince George's County 4A battle with a 2-1 record.
