The North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) basketball crushed the host Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA), 80-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Comets (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Huskies go into the Raccoon River test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Winterset was trounced by Gilbert (Gilbert, IA), 70-41, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Norwalk for a Little Hawkeye test on Friday, December 15. Indianola will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 65-58 non-league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.
