Illinois High School Basketball - Kankakee routs Thornwood

In Thursday's league outing, the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL), by a count of 61-17.

The Kays (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Corner Canyon (Draper, UT). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record.

The Thunderbirds now hold a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Thornton Fractional South for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 16. Thornwood will clash with a Red Wolves squad coming off a 43-29 non-league win over Highland (Highland, IN). The Red Wolves record now stands at 7-6.
