Keys Cougars (Park Hill, OK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK), 57-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Keys upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Spiro (Spiro, OK) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Spiro lost 52-45 in their recent non-league bout against Warner (Warner, OK)

Next up, the Indians play the Adair Warriors (Adair, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Sequoyah will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 60-40 league win over Salina (Salina, OK).
