Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Laurel Highlands overwhelms Uniontown

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA) and the visiting Uniontown Red Raiders (Uniontown, PA), saw Laurel Highlands's basketball squad wallop Uniontown by a count of 47-10.

With the victory, Laurel Highlands upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Southmoreland (Alverton, PA) to play the Scotties in a WPIAL 4A 3 challenge on Monday, December 18. The Scotties come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Southmoreland lost 38-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA)

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Belle Vernon Leopards (Belle Vernon, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Uniontown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
