Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Warren Warriors (Warren, IL), 54-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lena-Winslow upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Orion (Orion, IL) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-9.

Next up, the Warriors play the Argyle Orioles (Argyle, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Warren will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Orioles go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 73-37 non-league win over Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy (Madison, WI).
