Yoncalla Eagles (Yoncalla, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McKenzie Eagles (Finn Rock, OR), 30-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Yoncalla upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Monroe (Monroe, OR) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Monroe lost 38-21 in their recent non-league bout against Colton (Colton, OR)

Next up, the Eagles play the Prospect Cougars (Prospect, OR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. McKenzie will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
