St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI), 46-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Charles upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI) to play the Eagles in a Mid-State bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Ashley Bears (Ashley, MI) in a Mid-State bout, on Monday, December 18. Montabella will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 63-12 league loss to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI).
