The River Dell Golden Hawks basketball team (Oradell, NJ), was overwhelmed 58-36 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Pascack Valley Panthers (Hillsdale, NJ)
The Panthers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glen Rock for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 16. Pascack Valley will confront a Panthers team coming off a 33-19 non-league win over Cresskill (Cresskill, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
The Golden Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ). The Highlanders come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Northern Highlands trounced Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ), 50-29, in a non-league battle.
