Maryland High School Basketball - Western beaten by Poly

The Poly Engineers ran past the visiting Western basketball team by a final score of 56-37 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Engineers face the Forest Park Foresters (Baltimore, MD) in a Baltimore City II game, on Tuesday, December 19. Poly will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Foresters enter the game with a 5-0 record after their 80-5 league win over Mergenthaler Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD).

With the defeat, Western moves to 1-2 on the year. The travel to Pikesville (Baltimore, MD) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 16. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 2-1. Pikesville won 90-22 in their recent non-league game against Dundalk (Baltimore, MD)
