Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Midlothian Trojans (Midlothian, VA), 40-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Manchester upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Lancers travel to Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA) to clash with the Springers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Springers go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Highland Springs lost 62-38 in their recent non-league bout against L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) in a bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Midlothian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Rapids go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 54-27 non-league win over Huguenot (Richmond, VA).
