Albany Cougars (Albany, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Kennedy Eagles (Richmond, CA), 81-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Albany upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA) to play the Trojans in a bout on Thursday, December 21. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Terra Linda won 55-53 in their recent non-league bout against Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
