California High School Basketball - Corning overwhelmed by Las Plumas

The Las Plumas Thunderbirds basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Corning Cardinals to 27 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Thursday.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colusa for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Las Plumas will battle a RedHawks team coming off a 54-47 non-league win over West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The RedHawks record now stands at 1-1.

The Cardinals (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Pierce (Arbuckle, CA). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Pierce triumphed over Williams (Williams, CA), 41-32, in a non-league contest.
