In Thursday's non-league outing, the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) basketball squad edged the visiting Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), by a count of 52-47.
The Thunderbolts (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Scituate (North Scituate, RI). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Scituate was tipped by Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI), 42-22, in a non-league outing.
