California High School Soccer - Grant nudges Monterey Trail

The Grant Pacers soccer team scored 2 points and limited the host Monterey Trail Mustangs to 1 in the Pacers league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Pacers face the Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 18. Grant will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Jesuit (Carmichael, CA).
The Mustangs now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Edison for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Monterey Trail will face a Vikings team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Lincoln (Stockton, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 9-2.
