The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Elkhart Elks (Elkhart, TX) and the host A Plus Academy Knights (Dallas, TX), observed Elkhart's basketball team knock off A Plus Academy by a score of 41-30.

The Elks (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mexia (Mexia, TX). The Black Cats come into the 3A Region III District 20 challenge with a 8-7 record.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Inspired Vision EAGLES (Dallas, TX) in a 3A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. A Plus Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The EAGLES come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 84-7 non-league loss to Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep (Dallas, TX).
