In Saturday's league contest, the host Cadillac Vikings basketball team scored a big 51-30 triumph over the Alpena Wildcats.
The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Petoskey (Petoskey, MI). The Northmen go into the Big North contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Petoskey smashed Dow (Midland, MI), 62-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Elk Rapids Elks (Elk Rapids, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Alpena will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Elks go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 72-38 league win over Kalkaska (Kalkaska, MI).
