The Cass Colonels basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Unity Christian Lions to 40 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Colonels now have a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Dalton for a AAAA Region 7 game on Tuesday, December 17. Cass will confront a Catamounts team coming off a 65-43 non-league win over Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA). The Catamounts record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Unity Christian falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Lions host North Georgia Christian Academy (Ellijay, GA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Knights go into the game with a record of 4-9.
