The Edgewood Academy Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Fort Dale Academy Eagles to 53 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Sparta Academy for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. Edgewood Academy will confront a Warriors team coming off a 43-27 non-league win over Snook Christian Academy (Foley, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Fort Dale Academy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Bessemer Academy (Bessemer, AL) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 6-0. Bessemer Academy won 82-54 in their recent non-league game against East Central HomeSchool (Pinson, AL)
