In Saturday's league contest, the host Empire Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 56-43 win over the Waurika Eagles.

The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Marlow, OK). The Bronchos come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Central defeated Chattanooga (Chattanooga, OK), 88-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Velma-Alma Comets (Velma, OK) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Waurika will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 46-45 non-league loss to Amber-Pocasset (Amber, OK).
