In Saturday's non-league test, the Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves (Maywood, NE), by a score of 40-32.

Next, the Falcons encounter the Medicine Valley Raiders (Curtis, NE) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 19. Hitchcock County will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 59-44 non-league loss to Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE).
