Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds (Delavan, WI) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Iowa School for the Deaf Bobcats (Council Bluffs, IA), 43-12 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Wisconsin School for the Deaf advances its record to 1-6 on the year. The Firebirds host Metro Deaf (St. Paul, MN) to face the Cheetahs in a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. The Cheetahs enter the match with a record of 0-1.

The Bobcats now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Griswold for a non-league match on Monday, December 16.
