The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Molokai Farmers (Hoolehua, HI) and the host Lanai Pine Lads (Lanai City, HI), observed Molokai's basketball team edge Lanai by a score of 36-29.

The Farmers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Maui Prep (Napili, HI). The Pueo come into the Maui II challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Maui Prep edged Hana (Hana, HI), 74-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pine Lads battle the Maui Prep Pueo (Napili, HI) in a Maui II challenge, on Friday, January 3. Lanai will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
