California High School Basketball - Westlake Charter nips Mira Loma

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Westlake Charter Explorers basketball team scored a close 41-37 win over the Mira Loma Matadors.
The Explorers (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Esparto (Esparto, CA). The Spartans come into the Northern Pacific Athletic Conference contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Esparto was tipped by San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA), 47-14, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Matadors battle the Highlands Scots (North Highlands, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Mira Loma will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Scots come into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 74-52 non-league loss to El Dorado (Placerville, CA).
