With the victory, Monte Vista advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Mustangs host Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA) to face the Monarchs in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Monarchs enter the match with a record of 4-2.

The Mustangs now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De La Salle for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. Mountain House will face a Spartans squad coming off a 61-57 non-league win over Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-0.
