In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Montgomery Tigers basketball team scored a big 58-22 win over the New Living Word Lions.

The Tigers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northwood (Lena, LA). The Gators come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record.

In their next game, the Lions battle the North Caddo Titans (Vivian, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. New Living Word will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Titans come into the contest with a 3-8 record after their 62-49 non-league loss to Ringgold (Ringgold, LA).
