In Saturday's non-league test, the Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL) basketball squad got by the host Randolph County Tigers (Wedowee, AL), by a score of 51-45.

Next, the Bobcats clash with the Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors (Talladega, AL) in a 1A Area 8 test, on Monday, December 16. Woodland will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Silent Warriors come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 42-29 non-league win over Mississippi School for the Deaf (Jackson, MS).

The Tigers (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Beulah (Valley, AL). The Bobcats go into the non-league bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, Beulah nudged Notasulga (Notasulga, AL), 80-61, in a non-league bout.
