Next, the Trojans clash with the Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 16. University will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 15-1 record after their 69-54 non-league win over South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX).

The Royals (8-8) will now prepare for their game against Ryan (Denton, TX). The Raiders go into the 5A Region I District 6 game with a 5-14 record. In their last game, Ryan was toppled by Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX), 69-45, in a non-league game.
